Our Research Themes
The Globalism Institute specialises in engaged and principled research that develops socially sustainable and culturally sensitive responses to the demands of globalisation.
Between 2003 and 2006 the Institute has attracted seven ARC Discovery grants, three ARC Linkage grants, an ARC Network seed funding grant and three major RMIT VRII grants, along with other research grants from international bodies such as the British Council, the Victorian government and other international government and non-government bodies.
The projects within which our research is conducted have been grouped according to the core research themes of the Institute:
- Border Knowledges, Global Learning
- Community Sustainability
- Globalism and Nationalism
- Sources of Insecurity
